Negative: The walls and floors are very thin and was kept up the majority of the night by people above us. I was not aware of or told about a fee to park at the hotel. Seems exorbitant, being that there was plenty of parking.

Positive: First off we LOVE Marriott, I typically try not to stay in other hotels! Springhill Suites location was fantastic, located very close to the zoo, and park. It was a beautiful area in Boise. The staff members we encountered were friendly and helpful. And breakfast was great as always!
Negative: This was probably the worst I’ve seen a room at a Marriott, and it really wasn’t bad to be completely honest. I really probably wouldn’t have noticed had I not been pulling the hide-a-bed out. There was trash at the base of the couch, and the cushions had some questionable stains and there was also some sort of crumbled up something in the hide-a-bed and in the couch that convinced me to just put it away and let the kids sleep in with us. It really didn’t make a huge difference in our stay but I definitely felt the room could use a good DEEP clean. Everything did look nice and clean on the surface and I know how fast those rooms are meant to be turned over.
Summary: Great place to stay on a whim, just needs a little deep cleaning.

Positive: Well maintained and clean.
Negative: Breakfast ended promptly at 9:00. They were removing food from the buffet while people were trying to get something to eat. The “kitchen” facilities in the suite were gutted; no utensils, nothing to wash up with. A minuscule fridge with no freezer. A suite in name only.
